What does it mean to struggle with Groin Pains

Common causes of groin pain include: Pulled muscle, tendon, or ligaments in the leg — This problem often occurs in people who play sports such as hockey, soccer, and football. This condition is sometimes called “sports hernia” although the name is misleading since it is not an actual hernia.

How do you relieve groin pain?

  1. Rest, including a break from sports.
  2. Applying ice to the area that hurts.
  3. Physical therapy (a trained physical therapist helps improve your strength and range of motion).
  4. Pain medications (like NSAIDs or acetaminophen).
  5. Surgery.
